Novak Djokovic will face defending champion Andy Murray in the Madrid Open final after overcoming Kei Nishikori in straight sets on Saturday. The world No 1 needed just two hours to battle past Nishikori, but had to navigate a tricky second set to claim a 6-3 7-6 (7-4) victory. Djokovic spurned four match points to be broken for the first time in the match at 5-4 in the second set, but came through a tie-break to seal his seventh successive win over Nishikori. The Serbian has won 11 of his last 12 matches against Murray, most recently at the Australian Open final in January.
